These all-natural energy bites are a perfect pick-me-up or post-workout nibble, not to mention a chocoholic's dream!

With only 4 ingredients, you can whip up a batch in no time and store them in the fridge to grab as fuel whenever you're on the go, or when you just need that extra energy kick!

With 2 grams of protein and only 63 calories per bite, you’ll feel full after having just 1 or 2 and satisfy that sweet craving.

This recipe makes 13 bites but you can double the recipe if you want a bigger batch.

Ingredients

100g whole almonds

6 dates

2 tablespoons

raw cacao powder

1 tablespoon raw maple syrup

 

Method

Add all ingredients to a food processor and whizz for a minute until everything is well blended. Empty the mixture to a large plate and using your hands shape into bite-sized balls. It should make about 13 balls. Store in the fridge for a few weeks.
